Kathmandu, March 02, 2020 - The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal Hon. Pradeep Gyawali expressed great satisfaction on the continued bilateral relations between the United Republic of Tanzania and the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal.
The Minister was speaking at the official Commissioning of the Honorary Consul of United Republic of Tanzania to Nepal Mr. Rajesh Chaudhary at the Radisson Hotel in Kathmandu, on 02nd March, 2020.
In his remarks, Hon. Gyawali hailed the strong bilateral relations and congratulated the United Republic of Tanzania for its decision to open its Honorary Consul Office in Nepal. He noted the great potential for furthering the bilateral relations between the two countries as they share a lot of common interests and challenges.
Hon. Gyawali observed that Tanzania and Nepal are both developing countries whose economies depend largely on agriculture. He further noted that tourism is also a common area where the two countries can share their experiences as both countries are endowed with diverse natural resources such as Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mt. Everest.
