His Excellence Eng. John W. H. Kijazi, On Monday 10 September 2012, presented his letters of Credentials to Rt. Hon. Dr. Ram Baran Yadav,President of Nepal. The Ceremony took place at the Rashtrapati Bhavan,Shital Niwas(President Palace)in Kathmandu.

Nepal and Tanzania has a long history of Cooperation in the International sphere such as working together in the abolition of Apartheid in South Africa and peace keeping in Liberia, Sudan, Congo and Burkina Faso. Nepal is also the Chairman of the Least Developed Countries(LDC), of which Tanzania is a member.

After presenting his Credentials, His Excellency Ambassador John W. H. Kijazi expressed the Government of Tanzania's wish to take the historical cooperation further and increase the bilateral relation between the two countries especially on the sector of Agriculture and Tourism(Nepal is famous for trekking and Mountain Climbing. Mount Everest is on the northern part of Nepal).

His Excellence Eng. John W.H. Kijazi is the Ambassador of the United Republic of Tanzania in India and is also accredited to Nepal, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.
